2-Year / 24,000-Mile Warranty on All Repairs

Our promise

Absolute Auto Service stands behind our work. We warrant the parts we supply and install and the labor we perform for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, measured from the date of the repair shown on your repair order.

What’s covered

If a part we supplied or a repair we performed fails because of a defect in the part or a defect in our workmanship during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the affected part and re-perform the related labor at no charge to you.

What’s not covered

• Parts or components supplied by the customer, or installed by anyone other than Absolute Auto Service.
• Normal wear and tear. Wear items (such as brake pads and linings, wiper blades, filters, belts, hoses, and light bulbs) are covered against manufacturing defects, but not against normal wear from ordinary use.
• Tires and batteries, which are covered by their own manufacturers’ warranties — we’ll help you use them.
• Failures of parts, components, or systems that we did not repair or service.
• Damage caused by accident, collision, abuse, misuse, neglect, lack of recommended maintenance, modification, overloading, or off-road and racing use.
• Damage that results from continuing to operate the vehicle after a problem appears.
• Problems arising from repairs you declined when we recommended them.
• Repairs altered or worked on by another shop or person after we performed them.
• Incidental or consequential costs such as towing, rental cars, or lost time, except where Massachusetts law requires otherwise.

Parts with longer manufacturer warranties

Some parts we install carry a manufacturer’s warranty longer than 24 months / 24,000 miles. In those cases, the longer manufacturer warranty passes through to you, and we’ll help you take advantage of it.

How to make a warranty claim

1. Keep your repair order or receipt — it is your proof of the original repair, its date, and mileage.
2. Contact us promptly when a problem appears at (781) 642-9080. If the issue is safety-related, please stop driving the vehicle.
3. Return the vehicle to Absolute Auto Service so we can inspect it and perform any covered warranty work.

Who is covered

This warranty applies to the original customer and vehicle identified on the repair order.

Your legal rights

This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights under Massachusetts law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which are not limited or waived by this warranty.
